August 21, 2026 Dear Journal, today, I am thinking a lot about my mom. She is 56 now and deals with fibromyalgia, which causes her so much pain and fatigue. It is hard to see her go through it, and sometimes I don’t know all the details or exactly how to fix it. I just want her wellness and health to be okay. I talked about how she might need a restful nap, but I have to be careful that daytime sleep doesn't hurt her nighttime rest. I asked if God could hear my prayers since I am deaf. The answer brought me so much peace: God doesn't need to hear a spoken voice. He understands my thoughts, my heart, and my sign language perfectly. He reads the deep love I have for my mom before I even form the words. I know He hears me when I pray for her to be well. Even when things with her health are uncertain, I know my love for her is a powerful thing. I will keep holding her in my heart, sending her strength, and trusting that my quiet prayers are always fully seen and heard. I am doing my absolute best to care for her, and that is enough.

Yours Sincerely,.
