MY MAMA BEAR DIARY Entry 1 - Where do bears live? Dear diary, Today I learned bears don't live in a nest like birds. They live in a den. It's like a cozy, hidden house made in rocks and big tree roots. Warm and safe inside. Entry 2 - My next life wish Dear diary, I decided in my next life I want my mom to be a mama bear. A human mom is nice but a bear mom will protect me forever and cuddle me with her big fluffy body. No one can mess with her cub. Entry 3 - Wait, the bathroom?? Dear diary, Then I thought - lol - where is the bathroom in a bear den? There is no bathroom. Mama bear says bathroom is outside, far far away from the den. Den is only for sleeping and cuddles. So I have to go in the woods. Entry 4 - What if I pee and poop in the den? Dear diary, I asked what if I accidentally pee and poop inside the den. Will she scold me? Yes, she will give me THE look. Like "really, cub?" And nudge me outside with her nose and make me wash in the river. Entry 5 - Will she kick me out? Dear diary, I was scared she would kick me out for making it dirty. She won't. Never. Mama bears never kick their babies out for an accident. She'd be annoyed for 2 seconds and then pull me back in and cuddle me even closer. I'm stuck with her. Entry 6 - Will she clean it like human moms? Dear diary, Will she clean like my human mom? Same love, different way. Human mom uses wipes and spray. Bear mom digs out the dirty moss and throws it out of the den and brings fresh soft leaves for my bed. And then gives me a big bear lick bath to make me clean. Entry 7 - The creepy guy Dear diary, Today I got scared. I asked what if a creepy guy comes at me? Mama bear went full MAMA MODE. She stood up HUGE in front of me, roared so loud the whole forest shook, and hid me behind her back. He ran away. After, she checked me, sniffed me, and hugged me tight. I was so safe. Tonight - Final thought Goodnight from the den. I think this is why I want a bear mom. Not just protection, but that feeling that someone will never, ever leave me, no matter what.
