I really don’t wanna be mean, but I really hate this one person’s fan OC for an interest I have, and I can’t stand it being alone with this opinion. I just can’t fathom the thought of the OC being canon or anything (they want it canon, and it honestly could if it gets enough traction/gets lucky). The only reason I hate this OC is because they were made SPECIFICALLY to be shipped with a canon character…like dude. Everything else about the OC is fine, I would even *enjoy* this OC if it wasn’t a ship OC. However, I just hate the thought of them trying to push this oc past the point of fandom, and bring it into canon. I don’t wanna be the fun police but…IT JUST COMES OFF AS WEIRD. The only one who should be able to make an entirely new CANON ship/character for an already existing one, should be the creator imo.
