The "Mushk" Perspective: 18th Ramadan We are currently in the Ashra of Maghfirah (the 10 days of Forgiveness). In the heart of Karachi, the energy is shifting right now: • The Midnight Hustle: Since it's nearly 2:00 AM, the city isn't sleeping. Karachi is famous for its "Ramadan Nights" the cricket matches in the streets are likely in full swing, and the tea stalls in areas like Bahadurabad or Burns Road are packed. • The Pre-Sehri Quiet: We are just a few hours away from the 18th Sehri. There’s a specific scent in the air—fried parathas and fresh yogurt as families start waking up to prepare. • The Turning Point: Being on the 18th day means the "Second Ashra" is almost over. Tomorrow night marks the start of the final 10 days, where the atmosphere gets much more spiritual and the markets get much more crowded for Eid shopping.
