June 13, 2026 – Karachi - 8:11 PM It’s been a heavy, heartbreaking day in the city. The morning started with the devastating news from Orangi Town. Two young boys, 17-year-old Saifullah and 14-year-old Anas, are gone. They went out to celebrate a wedding, but celebratory aerial gunfire went completely wrong. Saifullah died at the scene, and Anas passed away later at Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. The police have arrested the groom and his brother. Then came the horrific news from Gadap Town. A family of three, Abdul Majeed, his wife Sakina, and their 4-year-old son Abdul Nabi were brutally killed with axes inside their home. They had just moved here from Balochistan, and the police suspect it was an honor killing orchestrated by the wife's family. Nobody survived. On the security front, the Counter-Terrorism Department arrested a TTP suspect early this morning who was trying to smuggle drone tech into the city. Plus, the streets are filled with heavy police deployments after yesterday's violent protests near the U.S. Consulate. Financially, everything is a mess too. Gold prices just went through the roof, hitting an all-time record because of the new federal budget announcement. The only tiny bit of relief is that petrol prices dropped a bit, and the intense heatwave is finally starting to ease up.

Yours Sincerely,Mushk Mohyuddin
