March 18, 2026 – The Last Ashra in Karachi The traffic in Gulistan-e-Johar is absolute madness tonight. Living so close to the LuckyOne Mall has its perks, but during the last days of Ramadan, it feels like all of Karachi is on Rashid Minhas Road. Amma and I finally finished our Eid shopping today. I’m glad we live in Karachi, there’s an energy here you just don't get in other cities. Even with the cancellation of the March 23rd parade due to the national austerity drive, the local markets are still buzzing with people buying green flags and new clothes.
