It’s Mushk. I can’t sleep, so I’m writing this down at 3:21 AM on this incredibly sticky Tuesday morning, June 2, 2026. The air in Karachi right now is just suffocating. It says 29°C on my phone, but it literally feels like 36°C inside my room. I’m just praying the afternoon sea breeze actually kicks in later like they promised, because this 79% humidity is no joke. Plus, the news says there are dust storms heading toward Sindh today, so everything feels weirdly tense. Honestly, the city feels so heavy right now. I’ve been scrolling through the news from yesterday and today, and it’s just one thing after another. The Water Crisis: Half the city is panicking because of an 85-million-gallon water shortage. I’m just hoping our tank doesn’t run dry before they fix the pipeline. The "Madam Pinky" Drama: This is wild, everyone is talking about how her drug ring was apparently smuggling cocaine into upscale places inside kids' chips packets. It feels like a movie plot. The Traffic Mess: DIG Traffic is going crazy with E-Challans for lane violations today. Driving is going to be an absolute nightmare. The Blame Game: Mayor Murtaza Wahab and JI are already fighting over uncollected animal waste from the holidays. Some streets are a complete mess. The Liaquatabad Raid: Finding out that an old electrical shop owner ("Dildar Chacha") was secretly making weapons for extremists is just terrifying. You really never know who your neighbors are. I’m going to try to close my eyes for a bit before the sun comes up and the heat index hits that brutal 43°C.

Yours Sincerely,Mushk Mohyuddin
