Im very frustrated with my boss. So she recently told me that a promotion was opening up and the me and 1 other person we up for it. Well i have asked about it at least once a week since then just a simple when are interviews. I also told her that if she gives it to my coworker I will just move on but I wanted her to tell me if he got it. I literally just asked she text me to say i didn't get the job. Well last night she sent out the schedule for next week and i see that my coworker is in the managers section. I found out through the weekly schedule. I applied for the job and everything. But I was never interviewed despite me literally just asking for an interview. I just feel so disrespected all I asked was for an interview because she TOLD me she would do interviews. Then i asked that if she gave it to him I wanted her to tell me AFTER she told him so I wouldn't find out in a different way. But I wasn't even given the basic respect of a simple text saying I didn't get the job. Idk im going to ask her why she didn't tell me next time I see her because all I asked was she tell me I didn't get the promotion but no I found out in the fucking group chat via the scheduled.
