9:47 PM | Friday, Feb 27, 2026 Location: Gulistan-e-Johar, Block 15 Finally... home. The drive from DHA Phase 6 felt like it took a lifetime today. Leaving the office at 7:00 PM on a Friday is always a gamble, but with the high security alert across Karachi tonight, the energy on the streets was just... different. Seeing the extra police squads at the intersections while navigating the usual Shahrah-e-Faisal chaos definitely didn't help the "end of week" fatigue. I’m currently sitting in my room in Block 15, and the hum of Johar outside is actually kind of grounding. It’s been a heavy day—everyone at the agency was talking about the border airstrikes and Operation Ghazab lil-Haq. It’s hard to stay in "creative mode" when the news notifications won't stop popping up on your phone. My brain is a weird mix of "did that client approval come through?" and "should I just delete all social media for the weekend?" Being an IoBM grad and working in media means I'm always on, but right now, my only goal is to stay off. The temperature is actually quite nice tonight—23°C is the perfect "open window" weather before the real Karachi heat kicks in. I can hear the distant sound of the markets nearby, and honestly, all I want is a cup of chai and to stop thinking about deadlines and security protocols. Survived another week. Now, time to just breathe. Mood: Drainnnned. 🫠 Current Craving: Peace, quiet, and maybe some fries from around the corner.

Yours Sincerely,Anonymous
